The MacAdmins Conference, one of the world’s largest Apple-focused IT events, is pleased to announce this year’s virtual series, MacAdmins Campfire Sessions. Inspired by the conference’s summer camp feel, MacAdmins Campfire Sessions will feature eight weekly two-hour sessions. A look at current macOS update strategies, focusing on Nudge; a utility by Erik Gomez.

Long Description:
How to we install macOS updates in 2021? After reviewing current methods and their limitations (softwareupdate, MDM commands and configuration profiles) the bulk of this presentation will focus on how to deploy and configure Nudge; a utility that persistently guides users to the System Preferences Software Update pane with varying levels of “persuasion”. We’ll have a live demonstration of Nudge’s functionalities and features.
