Abstract:
When COVID-19 hit, SAP had a global workforce and two major challenges: keeping its people safe and keeping itself in business. This session will discuss how SAP leveraged its existing remote-friendly work culture, embrace of cloud services, multiple lines of communication and employee working flexibility to make the transition from SAP in the Office to SAP in the Haus.

Long Description:
This session will provide a brief retrospective on how COVID-19 first affected SAP's workforce and moved the company's workforce to working from home. It will then discuss how SAP turned out to have unknowingly prepared for this situation through the lens of how the Mac team has restructured its deployment and service workflows between 2016 and 2021.
